Your data is only used for purposes of providing entertainment for your event or events.

If you ask me to help book any additional entertainers for your event, or if I am unavailable on your preferred date and you ask me for help to find someone, I will share your data with those entertainers or event specialists. Please be aware that I have no control nor knowledge of how they manage your data.

Your data is collected in one of four ways:

1. You fill out my contact form. The form is run by a company named Jotform. I receive your information from Jotform via my Gmail address. From there, I copy the information and put it into Google Calendar.

2. You contact me through my Gmail account. From there I copy the information and put it into Google Calendar.

3. You contact me through my phone number by text or call. From there I put your information into Google Calendar.

4. You visit my website. My website has a program called Google Analytics that gathers information about how many people have visited my website each day. This is not personal information. It’s given to me in aggregate numbers.

5. I may take photographs of your event or your guests. I ask permission to take photos of individuals with face paintings. If the child is a minor, I also ask the parent for their permission as well as asking the child.  

Data that I save about you pertains to your event. Most commonly, this is your name, the names of others helping you plan, your company’s name, the reason for the event, the day and time your event takes place, contact phone numbers, contact emails, and information about what to expect at the event that relates to my service. For example, I may ask about your theme, your colors, your child’s name, and designs they are likely to enjoy.

Digital photographs of your event or people at your event. 

Data that Google Analytics collects on my website is not personal, it’s just a number. In other words, if your name is Jane and you come look at my site, the program will tell me “You have had 1 visitor today.” It will not tell me that someone named Jane visited me today. I will have no knowledge of who you are unless you fill out my contact form or contact me via text or phone.

I keep your data for 3 years after initial contact or working your last event. I may use this information to reach back out to you in a following year to see if you’d like to book my services again.

At some point in the future, I may choose to sell my business to a novice face painter. Not only will they receive training from me, but they will receive my tools, my website, and current data I have for upcoming events and potential events 3 years in the future. They will be required to sign an agreement that they will not sell your information to others or use your information for any other purpose than booking entertainment with you.

If you’d prefer I refrain from taking photos at your event, please inform me beforehand. 

If you’d like me to delete your data sooner, or don’t wish to be contacted in the future, please read below about revoking consent.

No data is 100% safe. Or so I’m told.

I use a Mac computer and an iphone. Both Apple products are password protected and encrypted. Here is more information on that: https://support.apple.com/guide/security/welcome/web

At any time you can choose to request your information to be purged from Jotform, and/or my Google calendar, and I will happily comply.

I can also delete emails and text correspondence from my phone and Gmail at your request. 

I can also purge your data only in the circumstance of the sale of this business to another individual.
